Spicy Prawn & Pineapple Skewers

These are so quick easy and yum. You can make these the night before ready for the barbie the next day. Uses our Hot Jamaica Hot Sauce, but for a milder version, Bintango Hot Sauce works just as well!

Ingredients 

500g green prawns, peeled and de-veined

1 fresh pineapple, cubed 

Olive oil

Hot Jamaica Hot Sauce (or Bintango for milder heat) 

Method

  1. Soak your skewers in some water. This is a hot tip to keep them from burning on the barbie. 

  2. Marinade prawns in a good tablespoon or so of Hot Jamaica Hot Sauce, or too taste and a glug of olive oil 

  3. Pop in the fridge for an hour to let the flavs mingle. 

  4. Thread your marinated prawns and pineapple cubes onto the skewer and season well with salt + pepper

  5. Pop them on a burning hot barbie and cook them approx 2 minutes each side, or until cooked through
