Funky Umami Miso Hot Salt
The funk mummy of flavour! For instant heat, uber umami and funky funk, this red miso, fermented habanero and fermented local garlic hot salt is the cat’s meow!
HOW TO USE IT
A great all rounder to use on everything and anything ~ adds a powerful punch of heat with loads of savoury umami flavour and a hint of garlic. Use as a barbecue rub, a seasoning, and as just as you would chilli flakes or regular salt.
HOT TIP
For a mouthwatering barbecue marinade ~ add a heaped tsp to a good few glugs of olive oil and a couple of cloves of grated garlic and ginger. Coat your meat, let it marinate for 2 hours - overnight, and pop on the barbie. (Make sure you are in a well ventilated area as this hot salt bites!)
